At Chitraka By Sattama, we pride ourselves on prompt and thoughtful service. Since our sarees are ready to be dispatched, we begin processing your order almost immediately after it’s placed.

Because of this, we kindly request that any cancellations be made within 3 hours of placing your order.

After this window, we’re unable to accept cancellations. Here’s why:

  • Once your order is confirmed, it moves swiftly into our packaging and dispatch process to ensure you receive it on time.
  • Our logistics team begins preparing your parcel — from quality checks to wrapping — often within just a few hours.
  • Interrupting this flow causes delays, material waste, and logistic disruptions that affect both our team and our other customers.

We truly appreciate your understanding. This policy allows us to maintain the efficiency and care we’re known for, while ensuring you receive your saree in perfect condition, right on time.

Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy:

Every saree is packed with precision and love. We want your experience to be as beautiful as the saree itself. That said, due to any unforeseen circumstances, we offer returns, exchanges, or refunds only in specific cases, as outlined below:

Eligible Cases for Return, Exchange, or Refund:

We will gladly process a return, exchange, or refund only if:

  1. You receive a product that is damaged upon delivery
  2. The item is defective
  3. An incorrect product was sent (wrong design or colour)

Proof Is Mandatory:

To ensure a fair and transparent resolution, the following are required without exception:

  • Unboxing video clearly showing the unopened package being opened in one continuous take
  • Clear photographs of the issue (damage/defect/wrong item)
  • All tags, packaging, and labels must be intact and included in the images

Without the unboxing video and photos, we unfortunately cannot process any return, exchange, or refund request.

How to Raise a Claim:

To request a return, exchange or refund:

  1. Email us at [your email] within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Include your order number
  3. Attach the unboxing video and relevant photos
  4. Mention the issue clearly and politely

Our team will review the case and get back to you within 2–3 business days.

What Happens Next?

  • If approved, we will offer an returnrefund, or exchange depending on the situation and stock availability
  • The product should be shipped back by the customer (we do not have reverse pick up at the moment and we are working on it) to our address & a courier charge of Rs.200 will be paid to the customer
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days

Return shipping will be arranged by us or guided appropriately if needed.

  • Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted
  • Claims without unboxing proof will be considered invalid
  • Returned products must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging

  • Small marks or weaving irregularities that are inherent to artisanal or handcrafted fabrics

  • Fabric texture, thickness, or drape preferences

  • Slight differences in motifs, print alignment, or embroidery detailing — especially for hand-done work

  • Late delivery due to courier delays (once shipped, we rely on third-party delivery services)

  • Customer-selected wrong product or accidental orders
